Decription

Openedin 2002, it stands within the same Park on a single floor. The facility is divided into three exhibition pavilions: the Earth, which preserves artifacts that emerged during the period of Roman rule; the Sacred, dedicated to evidence from the Santaurio sacred area; and the Sea, which displays underwater findings.

Among the most valuable finds are a 5th-century Corinthian bronze helmet, a stone anchor log on which is engraved a dedication by Phayllos, among the most famous Crotonian athletes, to Zeus Meilichios (sweet honey, benevolent), and a small marble sculpture depicting Cupid and Psyche, found in the waters off the Croton coast.
